The book of Genesis in the Bible tells the story of God’s creative handy work. Many doubt the story of the origin of life, and other events mentioned in this book. But are there not other records that support these events? The Chinese has had a written language for many centuries, and it has been discovered that some of the characters in the Chinese language supports the events mentioned in the book of Genesis. The book “The Discovery of Genesis” by C.H. Kang and Ethel R. Nelson is a fascinating book to read. You don’t have to be able to read Chinese to understand this book, but I would think that people that can, would appreciate it more. An example, in Genesis it mentions the story of Noah’s ark and that 8 people entered the ark before the great flood. In this book,” The Discovery of Genesis”, it shows that the character for boat is made up of the character for: vessel + eight + people = boat. If you are interested in the book of Genesis, you won’t be disappointed in reading “The Discovery of Genesis”.
